Hear what our hydrophones capture
Three real-world recordings made with Burns AquaEar hydrophones in Australian waters. No equalisation or noise reduction applied — what you hear is real field performance.
Recording location & conditions
All three recordings were made in Port Stephens, NSW — one of Australia's most active cetacean habitats. Humpback whales migrate through seasonally; resident bottlenose dolphin pods are present year-round.
No post-processing
No equalisation, noise reduction, or enhancement beyond level normalisation. These represent actual field performance — the clarity and frequency response you will get when you deploy the hydrophone from your own vessel.
